Meet Martin Millner
I grew up in Mercer County, New Jersey and lived there for 17 years. I graduated from American University, in Washington, DC, with a degree in marketing. School has always been important to me, so I have taken many post graduate classes, over the years, including accounting, math and MBA level courses. I actually spent one year in law school. After graduating from college, I traveled abroad for a brief time, experiencing many of Europe’s finest cities throughout Italy, Spain and Great Britain.
I met my wife while she was an undergraduate student at The University of Pennsylvania. She was my sister’s roommate at Penn. We were married in 1974, and moved to Yardley, Pennsylvania shortly thereafter. Jane eventually earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Penn, and today is the director of Community Relations and Development at St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
My wife and I have three children, two girls and a boy. Our oldest daughter, Rachel, recently earned her doctorate in Psychology. She has started a private practive in Yardley. Our middle child, Lauren, graduated from Drew University with a co-major in Spanish and Psychology. She owns and operates a Coldstone Creamery franchise, in Mercer Mall. Our youngest, Michael is a senior at the Universitey of Maryland.
Sports and exercise have always been a part of our life. I grew up playing organized sports. I played basketball and baseball in high school, and went on to play number one singles for my college tennis team. I continue to stay in shape by playing basketball and working out.
When our children were younger, I coached a variety of youth sports. Both of our daughters played competitive softball, and I coached many of their teams. I also coached several of my son’s soccer, baseball and basketball teams. He played basketball and tennis in high school.
I have always believed that I have an obligation to give back to the community. I have been involved with many non-profit organizations. I am currently working with an organization called, “HomeFront”, whose mission is, among other things, to end homelessness in Mercer County, NJ, by harnessing the caring, resources and know-how of the community. HomeFront is committed to lessening the immediate pain of the homeless and to helping families become self sufficient. This is a wonderful organization, and one that I am proud to be involved with. You can learn more about them at http://www.HomeFrontNJ.org.
As a realtor, I have earned many prestigious production awards. I have worked with people from all over the world. I have assisted many Fortune 500 companies with their relocation efforts. I have helped families buy and see real estate at all different price levels. Having lived in the area for over 20 years, I have a great deal of knowledge about the area, and am able to share that knowledge with buyers and sellers.
I am passionate about what I do, and am committed to the use of technology in my real estate business, to help my clients make fully informed decisions. I combine the use of technology with old fashioned service and follow-up.
