Trying to decide on how to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your sweet heart in Bucks County? Think about celebrating along the Bucks County Wine Trail, as the member wineries along the trail are celebrating the day reserved for lovers (with wine) over two weekends this February. In addition to the wine trail are several other ideas to celebrate the most romantic day of the year in Bucks County

Here’s a look at what’s planned:

Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery is offering a chocolate and wine pairing featuring six wines for $10. The delicious pairing is available during weekends through Valentine’s Day.

Buckingham Valley Vineyards is giving a free tasting of its Pink Champagne and $2.50 off per bottle of Pink Champagne and Rose wine on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14 only.

Crossing Vineyards is hosting live music on Saturday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The winery is also offering the following specialty pairing that weekend ($18 in advance or $20 at the door):
Roast Beef with Horseradish Creme on a Croissant with gourmet sweet potato chips and double dark chocolate truffle served with a glass of Vintner’s Select Red, Blanc de Blancs or Chocolate Cherry Truffle.

Crossing is also hosting a Romantic Valentine’s Dinner on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. Dinner includes a five-course gourmet meal and a bottle of house wine per couple for $89 per person.

Rose Bank Winery is hosting a Valentine-themed paint and sip event with Pinot Paint Parties. For $48 guests can paint a wine glass and a shot glass, as well as sample Rose Bank’s wines. Cost includes all materials and instruction.

Sand Castle Winery is hosting a five-course sweetheart food and wine pairing on Feb. 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $55 per person. Reservations are required.

Unami Ridge Winery will feature its Blushing wine on the weekend prior to and following Valentine’s Day.

Wycombe Vineyards is offering its annual white, milk and dark chocolate fondue with fresh fruit, brownies and more on Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. A $5 wine tasting fee applies.

Additional Valentine’s Day Ideas

Wine and Chocolate at the historic property of Chaddsford Winery in Chadds Ford, as you visit five stations featuring artisan chocolate carefully paired with their wines. Advanced tickets are $25/person. Arrive anytime between 12 – 5 pm on your reserved date (12 -7 pm on V-Day) to take your pairing tour! Space is limited so reserve your spot today.

Make your own Cheese and Charcuterie. Cherry Grove Farm in Lawrenceville, NJ offers classes on making a variety of cheeses that you can make at home easily. Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse has classes on baking (in their wood-fired oven), cheese making and charcuterie.

Walking and Eating. Make romance last forever with a Sister Cities Valentine’s Day Tour on Saturday, February 17 from 4 – 7 pm. The walking tour in New Hope and Lambertville is designed to be romantic and perfect for couples. All you need to do is buy your tickets.

Great Food, Great People. Consider buying your sweetie a gift certificate to the Bucks County Taste Dinner Club. Since 2014, we’ve dined at some of the best restaurants in the Delaware River Valley — and met some great people too. Learn more about the dinner club here and email us if you are interested in purchasing a gift certificate.
