Wine lovers rejoice! Bucks County is home to nine beautiful wineries for you to explore and enjoy along the Bucks County Wine Trail. Bucks County has all the delicious wine selections, cozy B&B's and eclectic restaurants to make for a perfect weekend getaway. Follow any of these three itineraries for an awesome weekend of wine, food and fun!

UPPER BUCKS COUNTY

• The small, family-owned vineyard at Unami Ridge Winery specializes in European-style white wines and finely-crafted reds. Owners Jim and Kathy Jenks have created this unique property to produce great wines for your enjoyment and invite you to come taste all of their state-grown and bottled varieties in their intimate tasting room. Their beautifully maintained vineyard and grounds make for an unforgettable experience.

• Located in an actual castle nestled on the banks of the Delaware River, Sand Castle Winery is truly a winery like no other! This vineyard is a pioneer of European classical wines that are grown, harvested, bottled and aged on the estate to reflect the taste and charm of Bucks County. Some of their popular choices include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Gewurtztraminer. The beautiful estate and delicious wines are a must-see!

• Before Peace Valley Winery opened in 1984, Susan Gross established her vineyard in 1968 by planting three acres of wine grapes along with a large experimental plot of new hybrid grape varieties from France and Germany. Since then, the business has grown to create and produce 13 award-winning wines. What makes this winery especially unique is their pick-your-own farm, offering strawberries, blackberries, apples, grapes, melons, sweet corn and other fruit and veggies when in season.

• After your wine-filled day, you'll need somewhere to rest. The Plumsteadville Inn has been warmly welcoming guests since 1751. Though it has since been restored, The "Plum" has kept the charm and atmosphere of the old and married it with a new family-inspired menu and amenities. After you drop off your bags, grab dinner at the Inn's Restaurant and Bar.

CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTY

Located in a rustic barn built in the 1800s, New Hope Winery has grown into a major destination for live music performances, special events, unique gifts and baskets and, of course, exceptional wine. While you're there, treat yourself to a wine tasting while friendly and knowledgeable staff guide you through their selections and offer advice on the best wine and food pairings.

Buckingham Valley Vineyards & Winery is one of the oldest and largest in Pennsylvania. Their wines are grown and made by traditional old-world methods, complemented by the most modern techniques and equipment available. Wine offerings include reds, whites and roses; dry to sweet; grape and fruit; Port and five varieties of Bucks County's only naturally fermented champagne. Visitors are invited to enjoy a self-guided tour and wine-tasting. Bring your own picnic lunch for an especially delightful experience and then explore the outdoor sculptures by Bucks County artists!

• The 10-acre land and more than 60-acre attached parcel of fertile soils at Wycombe Vineyards have been in the Fraser family since 1925. In 2000, the Frasers started planting classical European style grapes to make wine and the pair now have about nine acres of classic Vinefera and French Hybrid varietals in various stages of maturity. Locally, the family winery is known for crisp, fresh white wines and deep full body red wines of different dryness levels. Bring your lunch and enjoy your wine on the beautiful outdoor seating facing the spacious vineyard.

• Spend the night at Mill Creek Farm B&B, where no two rooms share a common wall! If you're looking for a room that's unique and private, this 15-acre country estate features a pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, fishing pond and much more. Wake up relaxed and refreshed and enjoy a full country-style breakfast, served daily from 8:30 to 10 a.m. For lunch or dinner, head over to local favorite Caleb's American Kitchen. Helmed by Chef Caleb Lentchner, the restaurant is inspired by all things American including steaks, burgers, lobster, shellfish, Creole and California-style foods. Chef Caleb prides himself on producing dishes made with the freshest ingredients grown by local and regional farmers from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Whatever your taste buds are craving, Caleb's is sure to please.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY

• The owners of Rushland Ridge Vineyards, Ed and his wife Lisa, operate with the philosophy of making quality estate-grown wines at a reasonable price so their customers can enjoy them at any meal or occasion. Rushland Ridge grows 18 varietals on their six-acre vineyard, including favored hybrids, Chambourcin and Vidal Blanc, as well as two viniferas, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay.

• Founded by the Carroll Family in 2000, Crossing Vineyards and Winery is located on a 200-year-old estate that was once part of Longmeadow Farm and the King of England's original land grant to William Penn in the 1600s. Beginning with a five-acre block of French hybrid and European Vinifera grapes, the winery produced its first vintage in 2002 and 10 more acres were planted in 2003. Award-winning varieties at the vineyard include, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Vidal Blanc and Chambourcin. To make your experience even more special, they offer wine education, winemaker's dinners and a summer concert series among other wine-pairing events throughout the year. If you're feeling adventurous, take the Cycle and Sip bike tour guided by Encore Rides. These bike tours are for all levels of riders to enjoy the beautiful streets of Bucks County.

Located in the heart of Lower Bucks County, Rose Bank Winery was originally called the In & Out Winery. When the Fleming family bought the vineyard, they changed the name to reflect its history and built a new tasting room and wine-making facility called the Vintner's Ballroom & Loft. Rose Bank's French-American hybrid and viniferous grape varieties make crisp, fruity, French-style selections to satisfy any wine lover. Make sure to try their award-winning fruit and dessert wines like Raspberry Secret, made with a hint of chocolate!

• When you're ready to call it a night, head over to Pineapple Hill B&B. Resting on six acres between New Hope's center and Washington Crossing Historic Park, this B&B has nine beautifully decorated rooms and suites, each with cable TV, air-conditioning, a telephone, private bath and eight with gas fireplaces. Choose from rooms with a private balcony, living-room, canopy bed or an apartment suite. When you're feeling hungry, the Green Parrot Restaurant in Newtown is the perfect place to grab a bite. Evoking the feel of the original Green Parrot Inn from the early 1900's with high ceilings and rich woodwork, the restaurant offers fireside dining and an open-air patio. Finish your night with some great food while you enjoy their 20 high-definition televisions and live music or stop there before you start your day for their gourmet breakfast Saturday and Sunday.
