SCARECROW FESTIVAL
When: Now thru October 28
Where: Peddler’s Village
Check out a pumpkin pie-eating contest, live entertainment and lots of food. Make and take home your own scarecrow in the workshop throughout the weekend and see the larger than life Scarecrow Competition for two months.
THE COUNT’S HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
When: Now thru October 29
Where: Sesame Place
Bring the little ones and your best Halloween costumes to Sesame for a family-friendly Halloween tradition, The Count's Halloween Spooktacular! Find your way through two mazes, enjoy three Halloween shows, take a thrilling hayride with your favorite furry friends and watch an exciting Neighborhood Street Party Halloween Parade.
VALLEY OF FEAR HAYRIDE

Where: Feasterville
Explore the darker side of Bucks County during one of the many haunted hayrides in the area such as Valley of Fear's Original Haunted Hayride in the woods behind Phoenix Sport Club, where you can hop off the hayride and test your aim in Zombie Paintball.
ANNUAL NEW HOPE ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
When: September 29 & 30
Where: New Hope-Solebury High School
The Annual New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival sponsored by the Bucks County Playhouse will return on September 29 and 30. Browse the work of talented local artists during this juried show, nosh on delicious food, enjoy live entertainment, and more.
SLEEPY HOLLOW HAYRIDE
When: September 29 - October 28
Where: Active Acre Farms
Located just up 95 from Philadelphia, Sleepy Hollow Acres offers a bone chilling mile and a quarter long hayride throughout the premises. Take a ride on this terrifying hayride if your nerves are up for a scare! After these spooky experiences warm up with family and friends near the warmth of the bonfires and live music.
SPIRITS & SPIRITS AT THE WEDGWOOD INN

Where: Wedgwood Inn of New Hope
Your adventure begins with a glass of wine and snacks as Innkeeper Carl Glassman regales you on the history, and mysteries, of one of New Hope’s paranormal hotspots. Then, follow renowned jazzman and Principal ParaNormal Pundit, Eric Mintel, who will lead a small group in a hands-on investigation through the back halls and secret dark basement tunnel of this historic inn. Be prepared to experience the spirits of 1776 and the ghostly goings-on of the pre-Civil War era tunnel and its inhabitants that was part of Underground Railroad. Reservations are a must.
FROEHLICH’S FARM FESTIVAL

Where: Froehlich's Farm
Celebrate the changing of the leaves, the chill in the air and Halloween at Froehlich's Farm Festival September 30 through October 29. Enjoy a hayride around the 100-acre farm, get lost in a three-acre corn maze, find the perfect pumpkin from the farm's patch, ride your favorite pony, build a scarecrow, win prizes and warm up with some hot cider!
PERKASIE FALL FESTIVAL

Where: Town Center and Menlo Park
Enjoy food, artisans, raffles, a scavenger hunt, train rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables and live music as they line the streets of the historic downtown during the Perkasie Fall Festival, September 30 at the town center and Menlo Park. Bring your own scarecrow and sample this year's chili cook-off and pie-baking contest.
GHOST TOURS OF NEW HOPE

Fall may be known for its beauty, but it is also one of the spookiest times of year and Bucks County has plenty of ways to terrify you during the month of October. Grab a flashlight and take to the streets with Ghost Tours of New Hope to hear the chilling tales of the area's former residents who may have never left during a lantern-led walk.
BENSALEM FALL FESTIVAL

Sponsored by the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater, The Bensalem Fall Festival offers an opportunity to craft, eat, and enjoy live entertainment throughout the Bensalem Municipal Complex. The Festival takes place on October 6 and is perfect for a family outing
PUMPKINFEST & HORRORFEST
When: October 6 – 31
Where: Shady Brook Farm
Take a wagon ride down to the patch for the perfect pumpkin and enjoy a variety of inflatable attractions, a giant corn maze and more at PumpkinFest. On select evenings, stay for PumpkinFest After Dark, a not-so-scary event for the younger kids, featuring a moonlit corn maze and more. At nightfall on weekends, the friendly farm turns into a den of terror! HorrorFest invites visitors to walk through the Barn of Horror, test your bravery as you trek through the bloody fields of Carnage, ride through the spooky woods on the Hayride of Horror and face aliens head-on at the 3-D Alien Encounter.

HISTORIC FALLSINGTON DAY

Where: Historic Falllsington
Visit the “Village that Time Forgot” for a time-honored community event during Historic Fallsington Day October 13. Journey back in time more than 300 years to Quaker Pennsylvania with the help of colonial and Native American dance performances, crafters and folksingers.
BUCKS COUNTY BOOK FEST

Head into the Doylestown Borough, the home of James A. Michener and Pearl S. Buck, to celebrate the art of writing for the inaugural Book Fest! Expect to meet your favorite authors, attend panel discussions, listen to key-note presentations and learn from the best during the writing workshop.
HISTORIC BRISTOL DAY

Bristol has a variety of festivals throughout the season and one of the most popular annual events is this year’s 41st Annual Historic Bristol Day sponsored by Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation October 20. This free, family-friendly street fair celebrates the town's diversity with a variety of arts and craft vendors, food vendors, entertainers, children's games, a sailing regatta on the Delaware River, a car show and much more!

If you love apples, the Apple Festival at Peddler's Village November 4 and 5 is the place for you!
