Bucks County has everything you need to enjoy the changing colors of the all season. This is one of the most picturesque times of year in the countryside. Besides the beauty of the changing leaves there are fabulous fall festivals, events, and frightening Halloween fun.

Here are some of the festivals and events taking place throughout Bucks County this fall!

Shady Brook Farm Fall Fest 2018
Where: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd. Yardley, PA 19067

Apple Fest - is on September 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wagon rides to pick pumpkins and apples, both sold by the pound. The last wagon goes out at 4 pm, the field closes at 5 pm.

Pumpkin Fest - open daily from Oct. 5th to Oct. 31st from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pumpkin Fest After Dark - is open Sept. 29th, Oct. 11th, 18th, 25th, and all HorrorFest nights from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

HorrorFest - is open September 29th, Oct. 5-7, 12-14, 19-21, and 26-28.

Peddler’s Scarecrow Festival

When: September 15th and 16th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Peddler’s Village, Routes 202 and 263, Lahaska, PA 18931

Stroll among the scarecrows on display throughout the Village. Guests can sign up for scarecrow-making workshops and take home their very own scarecrow! Live entertainment, food, children’s activities and pumpkin pie-eating contests both days.

Yardley’s Harvest Day

When: September 15th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Downtown Yardley Borough

What: Yardley Harvest Day will emphasize the many unique aspects of living, dining, socializing, shopping, working and enjoying one of Bucks County’s most historic and best communities. Downtown Yardley is an idyllic setting for this community gathering, which showcases the Delaware Canal and the Delaware River. Yardley Harvest Day features unique artist and crafters, music and great food, historic and educational tours, and local civic groups and businesses.

Peace Fair

When: Saturday, September 22nd, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Buckingham Friends Meetinghouse

The Peace Fair provides a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere in which adults and children can learn about how others promote peaceful relations in their organizations and their own lives. 18th Village Renaissance Faire- A Faire for a Cause

When: September 15th and 16th
Where: Middletown Grange Fairgrounds

One weekend every year, watch as the fairgrounds are transformed into the ultimate family festival with stories, intrigues, history, crafts, varied entertainment, and interactive play. Enter the village known as Penn’s Park, which consists of eight stages and various sets: Merchant Squares, Living History Pavilions, food courts, gaming area, multi-cultural enclaves, craft corners, and Kid’s Kingdom.

Perkasie Fall Festival

When: Sept. 30th, noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Menlo Park

All children’s activities at Menlo Park this year are free of charge: petting zoo, face painting, pony rides, inflatables, children’s entertainers, craft show, pumpkin decorating, food, and music.

42th Annual Historic Bristol Day

Where: Bristol Lions Park, Radcliffe St., Bristol
When: Saturday, Oct. 20th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This free, family-friendly street fair features a variety of arts and craft vendors, food vendors and entertainers, children’s games, a sailing regatta on the Delaware River, a car show and much more.

Autumn Alive!

Where: 312 Broad St., Quakertown
When: Oct. 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Rain date October 27)

The 18th Annual Autumn Alive! celebration is a day of outdoor fun in Quakertown for the family. Children’s activities and crafts, farm-fresh produce, demonstrations, native plant sale, flea market, informational booths from local groups, merchant specials, live music and more. Don’t forget to bring your furry friends for the pet parade.

Halloween Fun:

The Counts Halloween Spooktacular

When: Weekends from September 22th to October 28
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Rd. Langhorne, PA 19047

Sleepy Hollow Hayride/House in the Hollow

When: Opens Sept. 30 and runs throughout the Halloween Season
Where: Sleepy Hollow, 881 Highland Rd. Newtown PA 18940

Valley of Fear & Haunted Hayride

When: Opens Sept. 28th
Where: 301 W. Bristol Rd. Feasterville, PA 19053

The four main attractions are a haunted hayride, Scarytales, The Facility, and Operation Z Escape.

Ghost Tours of New Hope

Where: Main St. & Ferry St., New Hope
When: Fridays and Saturdays in September and October, tour starts promptly at 8 p.m.

Follow a lantern-led “walk” along picturesque streets where you’ll learn about the doings of such places as the towpath itself; or see the phantom hitchhiker who may pass you in the moonlight; or see the historic inn where Aaron Burr appears from time to time and stares with sightless eyes…. Plus new exciting stories have been added to the tour! Cost is $10 per person.

Canal-o-ween

When: Oct. 28th to Nov. 3th
Where: Delaware Canal, N. Edgewater Ave, Yardley

Carving, lighting, and strolling by jack-o-lanterns since 2009! A week-long traditional-style Halloween lighting of jack-o-lanterns along the Delaware Canal. Bucks County residents can enjoy the beauty of the season within the natural setting of the Canal itself.

Frankenstein Rocks

When: Friday, Oct 26th, 7 p.m. Sat, Oct 27th, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sun, Oct 28th, 3 p.m.
Where: Bucks County Community College

Frankenstein ROCKS is a comedic rock musical that explodes onto the stage with all the Awesomeness and Amperage you would expect from an 80’s style hair metal rock concert.
