Celebrate the unofficial start to summer and pay tribute to America’s heroes this Memorial Day weekend in Bucks County. You can catch a play, spend time outdoors under the stars at a concert, tour beautiful and historic homes and celebrate National Wine Day (Saturday the 25th) this weekend.

Here is a list of events this Memorial Day Weekend:

Friday, May 24

44th Bucks County Designer House & Gardens House Tour

To fully enjoy the Bucks County Designer House & Gardens, please allow at least two hours to tour the houses and gardens. We encourage you to wear comfortable footwear without spiked heels.

When: May 24-26, 12 - 4pm
Where: Peppermint Farm

Summer UnWINEd Concert

You know it’s almost summer when Shady Brook Farm begins their Summer UnWINEd Concert Series! Come for a night of fun with live music, locally brewed craft beer, Rose Bank Winery wine, signature cocktails, and great food. Children are welcome, with fun activities provided.

When: May 24, 5:30 – 10 p.m.
Where: Shady Brook Farm

Summer Concert Series

Bring the whole family to relax on the lawn (weather permitting) and enjoy great LIVE entertainment by local musicians, while sipping on locally made Rose Bank Winery wines or PA craft beers. Wine & beer is available for purchase by the flight (6 select wines and 4 select beer samples), glass or bottle of wine. Come hungry!

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Book Tour

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office invites the public to their Book Tour at the Bucks County Visitor's Center. This book tour consists of recently preserved deed books dating back to 1684 and the presentation will walk you through the preservation process and what the Recorder of Deeds office has done to keep these records safe from further deterioration.

When: May 24-June 15, 9:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Dial “M” for Murder

Saturday, May 25

4th Annual Pints & Paws

Join us for our 4th Annual Pints & Paws event at the brewery. Grab a pint and meet some of the adoptable dogs from Harley's Haven Dog Rescue, who are looking for their forever homes.

Sip, Sip, Hooray! Let’s Celebrate National Wine Day!

Come to Crossing Vineyards to celebrate the happiest day of the year. Enjoy specialty cocktails, winery tours on the hour, discounts and more. You’ll be on cloud wine!

Sellersville Memorial Day Parade

The parade route begins on South Main Street at East Grandview Avenue and proceeds to North Main Street & Temple Avenue; from Temple Avenue to the Lake Lenape Park entrance located off Walnut Street. Immediately following the parade there will be a ceremony at the War Memorial.

When: May 25, 10 a.m.

Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade

From Ford Ave in Hulmeville, follows Main Street, Hulme Street, and Bellevue Ave continues into Penndel to Crescent Street, Hulmeville Ave to the Penndel Recreation Field.

When: May 25, 9 – 12 p.m.
Where: Penndel-Hulmeville

Sunday, May 26

Beer Brewing & Garden Highlights

Join our brewers to learn about brewing process in the 17th century. See what early plants are just getting going and how some of these plants were used in the brewing process. Our brewers will be doing a traditional beer.

Memorial Day Observance

Washington Crossing Historic Park will hold its annual Memorial Day observance on Sunday, May 26 beginning at 1 PM at the gravesite of Continental soldiers. The observation will include a colonial color guard, the Old Barracks Fife & Drum Corps, Revolutionary War reenactors, the Guardians of the National Cemetery Firing Party, Daughters of the American Revolution, veterans, Boy Scouts, and other honored guests.

When: May 26, 1 – 4 p.m.

Sesame Place® Parade and Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks

Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count, as their music fills the air and the sky is filled with fireworks! Fireworks will begin immediately after the 9 p.m. Neighborhood Street Party Night Parade on Sunday.

Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day)

Memorial Day Parades

While Memorial Day is often looked at as the unofficial start to summer fun, the holiday is truly about honoring our fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Communities throughout Bucks County will have music, floats, and waving flags honoring America’s soldiers this Memorial Day Weekend

Langhorne (9 a.m., Richardson Avenue)
Newtown (9 a.m., Newtown Commons West Building)
Warminster (10 a.m., Warminster Township Building)

Memorial Day at Parx Casino®

Celebrate Memorial Day trackside in the family-friendly Picnic Grove! Gates open at 11 a.m., first live post at 12:55 p.m. Pack your cooler and the kids and enjoy the races. Kids will enjoy Free Family Fun from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. featuring a moon bounce, face painting and airbrush tattoos. There will also be live music by The Harry Walther Band from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
