This weekend in Bucks County go and tube down the Delaware during the Grand Prix and Regatta, paint pumpkins at the Peddler’s Village Scarecrow Festival, or solve a murder mystery at a Game of Thrones themed dinner!

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

Back To Back To Black: Amy Winehouse Tribute Ft. Remember Jones

Treat your ears to soul music as a 12-piece orchestra performs 17 songs including some hit singles from Grammy Award winner Amy Winehouse. The set will open with Remember Jones originals. Don’t miss musicians from some of the biggest soul and funk bands out of Philadelphia, New York, and Asbury Park!

Alice In Wonderland Adapted By Madge Miller

Join the magical adventure as you watch talented actors play the roles of Alice, the White Rabbit, and other characters in this production based on the famous novel.

Come Together: Celebrating 50 Years Of Abbey Road

Sing along to Beatles’ songs for one night only, as a special group of local musicians performs the full Abbey Road album, plus other Beatles’ songs. The show’s venue is America’s oldest operating theater, with its first movie showing in 1906!

Kalmar Nyckel Sails in Bristol

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14

Delaware River Grand Prix And Regatta

Be a part of something fun while raising money for Binnacle House, a non-profit which serves youths at risk. Run through the Canal State Park Trail and tube down the Delaware River. As a participant, you’ll attain an event towel!

When: September 14, 9:30 a.m.
Where: Delaware River Tubing
Cost: 7 Mile Run: $50, 5k Run $40, 1 mile Walk $35, 7 Mile Run and Tube: $90, 5k Run and Tube $80, 1 mile walk and tube $75

“Elements of Art” An Exhibit of Abstract Acrylic Art by Skyler Granville

Skyler Granville is a 23-year-old painter who lives in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Skyler paints with his feet using his toes, and recently started experimenting with a paintbrush, which has produced an interesting evolution in his work.

When: September 8 – November 1, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cost: Free to Attend

Bolton Mansion Fall Festival

Join the friends of Bolton Mansion for a fun day of pony rides, face painting and many other family friendly activities! Grab a bite to eat the local food trucks and explore the Revolutionary War Encampment.

Crime Of Thrones Murder Mystery Dinner

Do you love Game of Thrones? Test your investigative skills while enjoying dinner with your friends during this themed murder mystery. Arrive early so you can walk around Peddler’s Village and check out all the shops Lahaska has to offer!

"Great Expectations" By Gerald Dickens

Have you ever seen a one-man show? If not, tonight is the night. Gerald Dickens’ adaptation of “Great Expectations” is sure to exceed your expectations. This production revolves around orphan Pip making his way into London. After the show, you can visit the Christmas Museum and gift shop.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

20th Annual Village Renaissance Faire - A Faire For A Cause

There will be fun for everyone at the Renaissance Faire. Check out jousters, aerialists, fire breathers, show performances, and archery matches! There’ll also be dancers, musicians, crafts, fine artisans, and a kid’s kingdom.

When: September 14 and 15, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Hellerlick’s Fall Festival

It’s time for some good ol’ fashioned fun on the farm! Explore this 18-acre farm, which includes over 45 activities for children and adults. Take a hayride, get lost in the corn maze and try your hand at pumpkin bowling!

An Ideal Husband

Check out this adaptation of the original 1895 stage play. Maryalice Rubins-Topoleski and Charlotte Kirkby tell their comedic story which visits political corruption in the 1960s.

40th Annual Scarecrow Festival 

Get an early Halloween spook! Bring the kids to make their own scarecrows and paint pumpkins. Walk through the festival display before voting for your favorite scarecrow. Live music will entertain everyone and there’ll be other activities for children.
